KENDRIYA VIDYALAYA
SANGATHAN : HYDERABAD REGION
Kendriya
Vidyalaya Sangathan started in the year 1963
with 20 regimental schools.
Kendriya Vidyalaya Sanghatan has spread
its branches in India and abroad with 981 as on
date including 03 foreign schools – Kathmandu,
Moscow and Teheran.
These 981 schools are divided amongst 18
Regions, each headed by an Assistant
Commissioner.
HYDERABAD REGION
Kendriya
Vidyalaya Sangathan, Hyderabad Region started in
the year 1981.
At present there are 50 Kendriya
Vidyalayas spread all over Andhra Pradesh.
Out of 50 Kendriya Vidyalayas, 19 are in
Defence sector, 24 are in civil sector and 05
are in Project sector.
As on date there are 45,189 students on
the rolls in all 50 Kendriya Vidyalayas.
The
Regional Office is functioning in its own
building. Regional Office is quipped with computers and other modern
office equipments. Both Administrative and
Accounts Sections are furnished like Corporate
offices wit all necessary equipments. Apart from different rooms, Regional Office has a small
Conference hall with required furniture.

The Kendriya Vidyalayas not only strive for academic excellence but
also for harmonious and balanced growth of the
students so that they become useful members of
the society and the country, fully aware of
their role
as an individual as well as an enlightened
citizen of our country.
Kendriya Vidyalaya maintains a high
academic standard with due stress on
co-curricular and social activities.

Besides, Science, Humanities and Commerce
at the Plus 2 level, KVS has also introduced a
number of subjects within the streams like
Computer Science, Informatics Practices, Multi
Media, Financial Marketing Management and
